Up Eye Dry Fly Hooks

I've been helping out with our club's beginners tying class for over a month now. I've gotten to the point that I can actually dress a fairly decent fly again. While setting up our tying room in the new house I noticed that I was running low on my favorite Mustad R50UNP-BR hooks in sizes 14 and 12. Down to about a hundred in each size. Went to place an order for some more and they are scarce. (It's been close to 7 years since I bought any hooks or other major material.) I really like the look of the up turned eye for flymphs. Anybody know where to get them or have a good substitute.

Sierra – Japan via HardyDeluxe
No idea if the hooks will suit you, but I found the service good, with a generous package of other hook samples.

The Kamasan B 440 seems a good substitute.

Kamasan B440 and Daiichi 1330 are more than likely the same hook under different brand names, just like most other Kamasan and Daiichi hooks. As far as I can see, they are described with the same specifics too. If in doubt, compare Daiichi 1480 and Kamasan B525 (for legering/coarse fishing) or Kamasan B410 ('for midges and smuts', the more expensive fly tying hook). The three of them are the same hook.

I think the Daiichi and the Sierra . . . are also the same hook.
The photos Ray and I posted look the same, just different dimensions.

found out a little bit ago that the Mustad hooks are a little bit more than scarce. They are discontinued.

Zen. you can still find a few, but very limited in sizes. Last of the remaining stocks. My favorite sizes, 12 and 14 are very hard to find. Seems they are other people favorites as well.
