A great pattern and, as always the case with yours, very nicely tied.

I carried a number of chenille bodied wets and nymphs in the 80's and 90's but they seem to have gone the way of the winged wet flies these days. Very nice fly Scott and thanks for the reminder.

Very interesting. I've always thought of the "Trude" series as a dry fly pattern. I like this hairwing wet fly variation. Nice job Scott.

A good looking fly.
I remember Mike C's thoughts regarding the color orange on a fly, and tend to add it wherever I can. Between the squirrel wing and the chenille, this one really appeals to me.
