North Country Greenwell's Glory

Putting a few more winged North Country style flies in my box this year. I just enjoy tying them. I have had good luck with a couple patterns that I have used in the past. A Ruz-du and a Devil's Crook. I usually only fish this style upstream.

Outstanding fly Carl. Perfect in every detail and a beautiful rendition of a historical classic pattern.
This brings up a question I've asked myself many times. Should a classic fly like this (winged) be submitted here, in the Fishing Cabin, or in the Fly Dressing section? I realize this fly has a wing, but in my mind, it is still an integral part of the North Country flies. I'd hate to see a true classic like this get lost in the general banter of the Fishing Cabin.
Would anyone object if I moved this to the Fly Dressing section?
PS - Sorry to hijack your post. Perhaps my question should be posed as a separate thread...

Carl, I have to ask. Is that a cock hackle that you used for the collar on this pattern?

In my mind it is still a classic wee wet....... just happens to have wings.
Very nice work Carl. I often "toy" with this pattern. I get the odd one or two the fish like and I am not too nauseated by and cut it off the hook before it leaves the vice. You have done well.

Not a cock hackle. It is a Whiting genetic hen cape hackle.
Ray, this is the Devil's Crook. I don't have any pictures of the Ruz-du winged. I will see if I have any in my box at the moment.
Thread is a grey waxed with dark cobbler's wax
Wing: Partridge secondary feather slip
Hackle: Partridge
Body: Hare's ear dubbing
