Didn't realize that norm had a Blog site. Thanks for the link.

norm, Great site loads of flies to tie. chucklin' I signed on as
a follower.

I grew up back-East. Eastern Pa. and awhile in NJ too. The photos
of the thin blue lines bring back some good memories. Of course
I was using spinning gear back then. But the sights, sounds, and smells
come back to me as I read Alan's entries. At the age of 74, it helps with
the memories of other things and 'stuff' as well but that's not for here.
As small as some of those streams are a store bought fly 'sling-shot' style
will work on a spinning rig with the bail open. Those were the days when
fiberglass was King. chucklin'. I never much cared for worms. They had their
place and time too.
I'm now more into the local river. The Rio Grande. Irrigation season is
about done so they'll be turning it off up at Elephant Butte Dam soon.
Noticed that norm has some Bass/Panfish flies too. Might be trying some
of them out. Gotta be better then all the jigs I run across.

Don't stop tyin' norm. We (at least 2 of us), are HUGE fans.

Thank god, the pattern wasn't named after the Passagassawakeag. The Passadumkeag being only slightly better. Yeah, I didn't know Norm had a blog either!

Yeah, I thought some of the names out west were tough, but here in New England, some names are just tongue twisters. Some, you just can't say with a straight face.
