Nice upright wings Ruard, very neat tie.
Were there any problems with the bending up of the B 175's eye?

A most excellent result, Ruard.

I just heat it till it is red, let it cool down again and then you can make it straight without breaking the eye.Mataura mayfly wrote:Nice upright wings Ruard, very neat tie.

Eric - I received your set of flies this afternoon! Outstanding job. Everyone is going to love these flies.
General Update - There is still room for one more swapper, in case anyone wants to join.

I had so much difficulties tying in the wing! The Jay wing feather was good because I could pull the fibers square to the stem and merry them with the other feathers that was not possible they would not merry again.William Anderson wrote:Ruard, such a treat to see your handiwork. I think we also could show each other the failures. Sometimes I learn more of a fault then from something that is alright.
