Wasn't sure where to post this one. As it is meant to be an attractor & does feature what I would describe as a half-wing, I opted to put it here in the winged section.
Hook: #12 Mustad 94840
Thread: orange Pearsall's
Hackle: partridge
Tail: golden pheasant tippet
Rib: oval gold tinsel
Body: hare's mask
Half-wing: flue taken from the base of a dyed orange mallard flank feather

Good for pre-spawn rainbow & cutthroat, where I live.

Bill Shuck suggested a natural amber brahma hackle for this, & I agree.

Lovely pattern Steve. Whe I first looked at the photo, I thought the half wing was calf tail, but then read your recipe. That is a cool idea. A very lively attractor pattern.

Steve!
Great pattern and aptly named! This has got to be a killer pattern with that fire orange crop on top! Have you given it a field trial? Always glad to see your patterns Steve! You are one talented tyer!

UC Steve, Howdy;

Nifty concoction, 8-) . The State of Utah uses Tiger Trout to control unwanted species and
they are rumored to truly hate the color Red. So much so that they will go out of their way
to eradicate it. This could work very well when they are in the area ... ;) .
