RnF Stone Tutorial

Here's another tutorial. Some of you may remember this pattern from earlier. It has been working quite well for me.

Created a new blog that I will be adding a lot of tutorials too (old blog is gone). It's rather barren atm, but that will change.

Another terrific tutorial Scott! I need to give this patter a try. Looks like a killer pattern.
I have a trick that will save you a few seconds the next time you tye this pattern. When you split your leg material off the ribbon, leave two strands of the rubble leg material still joined together (a single strand of two legs - undivided). You can then tye in a single strand of rubber legs. Stretch them as you tye them in and leave them together until after you finish the fly. When the fly is done, trim the strand to length as you normally would. Then use the point of your sissors to split the legs apart. I use this technique a lot when tying terrestrial patterns.

Ahh, it took me a second to understand what you were saying but I got it. I will have to try that out that. Thanks for the tip!
