By request. ;)
Not much to it.

Hook: Heavy 2xl hook (3906B as shown)
Thread: Black
Hackle: partridge (dyed dun in this pattern)
Rib: Pearl mylar tinsel
Abdomen: lighter or colored dubbing (orange squirrel dubbing in this pattern)
Thorax: dark dubbing (dark brown squirrel dubbing in this pattern)
Image

Tie in the hackle over the eye (concave side up) and attach pearl mylar rib.
Image

Wax the thread. Take your dubbing for the rear color and dub as you would a regular dubbing noodle near the top and leave a bit at the bottom loose.
Image

Now take some the dark thorax color and pinch the bunch onto the thread over lapping the loose dubbing for the rear color. Keep it loose.
Image

Catch all the dubbing in a dubbing loop.
Image

Twist the loop tight and form a tapered base of thread along the hook shank.
Image

Wrap the dubbing forward in tight wraps that are snug together then follow with the pearl rib, 3-4 ribs.
Image

Wrap the hackle back to the thread at the front of the thorax (about 2-3 wraps) then tie the tip down at the front of the thorax and work the thread through the hackle to the eye and finish.

Carl, this is a gem of an sbs. Thank you. That 5th pic really tells a story. As does the view of the dubbing blends before being trapped and spun. A great technique and a beautiful result.
