Beautiful stuff, Ray. We fish a pattern up here, after ice out, that is almost identical. Interestingly, it's a brookie magnet. Landlocks..., not so much.

Thanks for incorporating the Stone River video (I believe Nate, maybe Dan, tied that fly). Stone River Outfitters, in Amherst, NH, started out life as the immortal 'Hunter's Angler's' shop in New Boston, NH. Nick was the man who took one look at me and saw a naïf, a rube, a babe in the woods, and sold me on the principal that people who tie their own flies save money hand-over-fist.
