When you tie a pattern so hideous. So grotesque. Such an abomination that you can not show your friends what came off your vice.

Got to agree with ya, Wayne. Except for game birds, my favorite hen hackle is the Hebert Minor hen necks. Great, flexible stems that don't twist, barbs that are neither too soft or too stiff. I am saddened that I can't seem to find a lot of the great colors that were available years ago.

I have a friend in Utah.
He fly fishes and there looks to be some wonderful waters tucked away in them there hills.
We call him Utah Dave…
