Hard work but someone has to be out there putting in the time!

Do you recycle the hooks (strip the materials off and retire them), or keep them to remember the day? I have a couple battered flies on my desk that were “retired” after a fantastic day of fishing. They sit on top of my tying desk, as a fond memory stream side.

DUBBN, Howdy;
Not sure if you are aware, but someone photoshopped your Standard ND
hat into something totally
different.

I retire some for a memory at times. But the best way to strip them on a great fly is let the fish chew them down until only a wisp of tying thread is attached and it is simple to rebuild!
