I am envious. That's a hot looking fly, plus it looks like it gave you some hot action. Way to go DUBBN!

Okay, Wayne, what's the recipe? I can still see to tie 16's.

😂😂

Any scud or emerger hook size 16 and 14.
Bead, glass Silver
Thread, light Brown or Camel. This is Veevus BO9
Tail, Coq De Leon
Rib, Copper Wire. I like the dark Brown from UTC
Body, pheasant tail
Collar, muskrat, mole, filoplume , or the fluff at the base of any Dun Hackle. Tied in with a split thread. If I had CDC I would use it . I have used them all and they all work.

Super easy.

If I ever get back to Colorado, I'm going to have to fish the Roaring Fork...another fly for me to hihack.

Stop in any of the fly shops in the Roaring Fork Valley and buy a map to all the public access on the river. It includes the Frying Pan River as well. Well worth the ten dollars if you can not float

Thanks again DUBBN! :D

I used what I had on hand; Rust Brown UTC 70, S Brown Ultra wire on the 14s, XS Copper on the 16s and Silver lined glass beads and Muskrat/trilobal nylon on both.
