My best try so far at tying Oliver Edwards heptagenid nymph and really my first time ever trying to tye anything in the realistic realm
tail: pheasant tail
Body: olive stretch nymph skin and olive ostrach herl
Back: brown hen feather with head cement
Head: brown Swiss straw with black marker
Dubbing: olive
Legs: pheasant tail
Eyes: I used a string that is for some kind of musical intrument but I don't know which one

I actually just came across a you tube video of Oliver recently and surprisingly enough this is the first time I have ever heard of him. I've been missing out.

Oh you'll like Ollie, he's very methodical in his tying and fishing. If you get a chance watch some of his "Essential Skills" dvds. I could sit and watch those anytime, great info.

I think you've done these pattern's justice, they're quite nice and very impressionistic.
