Armstrong Filoplume Damsel
Developed by Gene Armstrong who worked at Kaufmann's; apparently he was a big proponent of incorporating filoplumes into patterns, especially effective in stillwaters.

tail/body - marabou
rib - copper wire x-small
thorax - filoplume/aftershaft
legs - hackle badger
head - peacock herl

Everything on this pattern is going to be in constant motion even in stillwater. Scott, you've certainly got a knack for the marabou and the filoplume. Nice tie.

I have about 4 or 5 flies that Gene tied. I used to get the "ice" report from him on the basin lakes. He used to fish them as they came ice-free.
