Wayne - I was going thru my old photos and came across a version I tied four years ago for a swap. I gave them all away, and don't think I ever fished them. Maybe I should tie another batch for out west.

Keep these flies coming. Great flies also Ruard, and Ray. I don't know what it is about these flies, but they really are very appealing. I have no doubt the fish feel the same.

I worked on a few smaller (16, and 18), and different color for an upcoming trip.

Very good eye Ruard. It is nut the B 175, but the Mustad 3906 in 18 and 16. I did not think it was so noticeable.

Become proficient with the split thread technique. It makes tying these a snap. A little bit of practice is all it takes to get good at it.

I tie them with the loop on the hook technique, also easy. Yesterday evening I tied them on a hook #16 B175 but that was much material on a little hook.
