Excellent , believe it or not that Flymph will hunt in the silted in Limestoners here in Pennsylvania . I didn't know that Daiichi made the 1330 that small.

William, just got a pair of Simms Riversheds with the Vibram soles an a pack of Hardbite star cleats, Had to go to size#14's with the sock system an the Redington sonic Pro Zips my old reliable studded felt Weinbrenner/Borger boots were squinchin my toes.Not so with these new Riversheds..In the past...

Jim Slattery, I have no problem with what you are doing as to the fact that years ago i bought all the main colors a few others in capes at least three of each, every payday if i had extra money it went into tying supplies, i figured id better hoard all i could because someday i might not be able to...

Ray, sorry for the confusuion what i meant was that when using the sword fibers do you use a left and a right feather to get the fibers,most swords i have seen seem to be from either the left side or right side not sure if peacock sword feathers have a "center tail" and yes i love these th...

Ray what size is this fly tied on? also do you need both sides of peacock sword to tie that other pattern you tied a while back i love this pattern as well as that peacock sword pattern and the candy apple patterns they will alll interest the Steelhead and regular trout alike. Tight Wraps & Tigh...

Hi Flymphers, I don't know if it is just me but i love the way my soft hackles and especially my flymphs look tied on Mustad 94842 in sizes #12, and #14. can't wait to figure out how to post pics here then i can share my flies. When tied on these hooks the flies remind me of the larger salmon hooks....

There were two models of ceramiscrape dubbing rakes that Lawrence Waldron had made each were the same length but the scraping teeth were for different purposes one for underfur,the other for guard hair.I own both and demonstrated their use at a local tying meeting this past winter.There is only one ...

Scotfly, I love this fly cant imagine how deadly it will be,i prefer a flymph style hcakle method my self,i guess its off to the vice,ill use a few of thses in two weeks,i headed to maine , wont be alot of water to fish as some rivers ,streams,creeks and brooks will be closed .but between the grouse...
