Re: Silk Thread
Hello, Does everyone tie with silk thread like Pearsall? I have read that the silk thread imparts a certain coloration to the body of a fly. Is it of a major significance that other threads beside silk cannot be used? Or is the significance more important in the eye of the fly tyer? As it is my wif...

Re: Rio "Slinky Indicator"
I have not used the two tone material. Detecting a solid color slinky is not that tough.FlyFisherMann1955 wrote: ↑Sat Jul 20, 2019 12:49 pm Has anyone used this slinky indicator made with Rio 2-tone tippet material?

Re: emergers
I'm surprised that no body mentioned the possibility of terrestrials. At this time of year, a wet ant is always something to consider. (Or a dry ant for that matter.) And I daresay, almost all other wet flies represent emergers. Just don't fish them too deep. 20190717_201522.jpg Thanks for an actua...

Re: emergers
Sorry , by your post I thought you knew the exact fly and technique to fish it. Trifly, Howdy; Hank can you tell me which flymph will work for his emerger dilemma? Sorry it took so long to reply. No, I couldn't recommend a particular Flymph to to use as I'm not familiar with Nova Scotia or the subtl...
