Re: Claret & Prairie Chicken
Yeah, about that not logged in thing... I wrote a response to REE in another thread, hit the button, and it all magically disappeared. Shoulders suck, they really do. Two shoulder operations later, and I wish I'd just tried to live with the original mess. Never again. I tried to respond to your com...

Re: Claret & Prairie Chicken
Yes a shoulder injury can take you out of the game fast for sure. It can seem like a little thing, but it can also make it impossible at the same time. My doctor said I would have to have physical therapy, but no I did not get that. I worked it out over a period of time. Busy with grandbabies, famil...

Re: Claret & Prairie Chicken
Hank, it has been a while, but glad to hear from you! Life for me has been incredibly busy lately. But hope it winds down before too long, so I can get back to some relaxation and hobbies.

Re: Kimono/Pearsall coordinated numbers
I looked, and yes it was surprising alright. I stopped using Ebay years ago. I could just save my spools once I get done with them, and rewind new thread on them. That is a shame though, as I used a lot lot it in the past. Now for using on fly rods, the bigger bobbin would not be an issue as much. I...

Re: Kimono/Pearsall coordinated numbers
I heard that Persall's was going to stop making the silk, which is a shame. I do have some still, and I am glad to know there are alternatives. Using a huge bobbin to tye small flies with though, does not sound good.

Ray, Howdy; Wow, talk about some 'voices' from the past ... Miss them all. hank I am checking in. It has been a long time. I had a bad shoulder injury, and could not tye, or fish. I finally got over that, but then life has been so busy for me. I had some family stuff going on, and now trying to pre...
