I've been helping out with our club's beginners tying class for over a month now. I've gotten to the point that I can actually dress a fairly decent fly again. While setting up our tying room in the new house I noticed that I was running low on my favorite Mustad R50UNP-BR hooks in sizes 14 and 12....

Bill, as far as i know, the Leisenring lift was a minor tactic in Big Jim's arsenal. dd Could be Stefan. All I know is what he and Pete talked most about in the published literature that I have read.
