Wow, I'm really impressed by the skill you've shown in everything that you have been so kind to share. I like this fly a lot, you were able to get a nice neat head even with 2 hackles and a wing. I would not be able to do that myself, again I'm very impressed. Thank you for sharing.

Since I pulled out the vinyl ribbing for the last pic, I tied up another similar fly only this time I used some flash underbody after the thread but still under the scud back and ribbing, and this time I didn't use a bead. The only other differences are, I used light olive scud back and I used peaco...

Thanks for the comments guys. Ray what I do to keep the ribbing from creating to much bulk is, I use pliers and clamp down on the end that's being tied in. I added a couple pics to show how I do it but it's a little hard to see, but you get the point. I'm sure I'm not the only one who does this. htt...
