Hi Lawrence,
Those are really nice, thank's for posting them here! I still haven't gotten around to dyeing anything that I have with my picric yet, but it's getting much closer than it was a year ago.
Regards,
Mark

Here's a quick pic of some dubbed on a size 16 hook to show just how fine some of it was. The thread is Bennichi 12/0. 003.JPG This one is ...

Re: Red & Brown Spider
Hi Andrew, I just have to ask what kind/model of camera are you useing for these pic's? The last several that you've posted have a sparkle on your clip that I really haven't seen on the more than several forums that I frequent every day? The focus and color is also very clear and crisp as well. If y...

Re: Carrot Stick
Hi Hans,
Welcome back and please keep the pics coming! Since you tied tons of all types of patterns for this trip, were there any real standouts among them? Did you get to try most of them out ? Just wondering.

Mark

Re: William's Favourite
Where was Williams from, though? The heavier hackle might a regional thing, rather than a time-period thing. Hi Bob, He has Stratford-on-Avon below his name on the introduction in the book. He also listed many of the rivers he had fished. He made one trip to the USA and Canada at one point also. He...
