I like this soft hackle version nicely done. I've seen the dry type Purple Haze and tied some of these Purple Haze lighting bug, and some good success with those, but never seen it as a soft hackle version, but will be giving these a try.

I use to order from JimsflyCo a while back but their shipping costs have gotten a bit too much for me. They do have an excellent selection of hackle too.

Very nice variation on a Sparrow. Brahma hens do make for some great soft hackles, one of my favorites
